You can use the MAS2 tool that is found in your rf2 install in the tools folder.

You can't "extract" it, but you can open its MAS files on "rFactor 2\Installed\ModType (Vehicles, Locations)\DownloadedMod" location (if the mod isn't locked, otherwise you will see a "Unknown MAS key" message).

You can extract whatever you want using quickbms, locked or not.

You can't extract rfcmp's, they can be installed and then you can extract content of the installed mas files.

When you install a 'rfcmp' file the content appears in the installed folder. If it is a vehicle (Vehicles), if it is a track (Locations). Then you can use the MAS2 tool to decompress MAS files.

That means they are encrypted. (Search rfactor 2 mas decrypter)

Sad news.
We can not use rfactor2.bms (v0.1.4) to decrypte because a new encrypting algorithm is introduced on the latest rFactor2 update.
And aluigi the decrypting master has no plan to update the script tears.

If there are the guys who can contribute to update, please see the following thread.
