| I was talking with a friend the other day about the passing of Jukka and how much he and others have given us.
I want to give something back.
Here is the idea. If one, or more, of out track makers could find the time to create a track sponsored by F1Classic, and published for all to use and remember.
The track would be named Beemer Memorial MODDERS track. I would like the main straight named Beemer Straight and T1 named Jukka.
Each corner after that would be named after a modder who has passed. I have heard of several and I am sure everyone here can help coming up with a name to add.
My first thought is to take some of the best corners from the world like the corkscrew from Laguna Seca or the fast one from Spa. (can't spell it).
I would like the track to be challenging and beautiful in rolling hills with ups and downs that would take your breath away.
I am open to ideas, and I know everyone is busy, think about it and please let me know if you can help. Unfortunately, I can only offer ideas.
Thanks. Clif |

| Not the first time this idea has been realised, Clif, the Jops Siffert track in GPL was made as such.
I can perhaps dedicate a track in memory of Jukka but it will be based on real roads, since I don't really do fantasy. |

| If it is a track that is already in existence, then that would mean only renaming what is already there. I hope to have something that is not already made. Please let me know if I miss understood what you are saying.
Thanks for your comments.
Also, I was reading some info about the Jops track.

| Well, what I meant was that there are some potential track layouts based on real-life roads (hilly & interesting ones like you say) that haven't been done yet. I was talking about a 'new' one, of course. |

| Uh, I haven't said I'll make it yet chaps, just offered the idea up for consideration ;)
I'll have a preliminary look into it though, while waiting for proper track wizards to step up to the plate with their suggestions... |

| I like this idea, was talking with Cliff about it a couple of days ago, though I was thinking of a track named Memorial Raceway. Though Jukka Raceway has a nice ring to it.
Unfortunately I lack the skills to help make it, all I can offer is some beer money and beta testing.
My ideas extent to a Finnish flavored experience, forest roads (sealed of course) winding in and out of treed areas around a lake. Typical Finland type scenario lots of varieties of pine trees, plenty of elevation changes and so on.
I look forward to seeing who steps up, and what can be achieved, not just for Jukka, but other very deserving guys (& girls) in our community. _________________ Click on ME !!!!! & Me Too !!!! |

| Did anyone know where Jukka used to race? Maybe create his ultimate race track with all his favourite corners? |
