could it be you had RBR running from a baclup?
then the game is not written in the registry

that was my problem when to try installing the 2009 addon
reinstalled the game and then i could run the 2009 addon.

you also have the 2 patches installed for RBR?

Actually it worked out. I did reinstall RBR onto the C drive but found out later I could have directed it to the other location.

I do have the patches installed.

How to configure controls on RSRBR2009??

Before installing this pack I drove RBR with manual shift and non combined pedals. But driving on RSRBR09, shifts are always automatic and combined pedal

if you mean pilot(coodriver) pacenotes there is in the menu of the game just look for them you will see a country flag GB, and some others i dont remember
